Welcome to Ron's Hire!

Crockery

Crockery requirements follow the event menu. Deciding what you will be serving will indicate whether you need side plates, starter plates, dinner plates and dessert plates/bowls, so this is the best way to approach your crockery needs. The number of cups and saucers may be somewhat less than the other items, as not all guests will have tea or coffee. Other items, such as milk jugs and sugar bowls, are shared either on the tables or at the buffet station. Cutlery requirements follow in line with the crockery, and again it is best to visualise what is needed for each part of the meal serving.

There are different qualities and styles of both crockery and cutlery for hire. For “ordinary” guests, one need not look further than the standard crockery and cutlery available at budget prices. The replacement cost, in the event of shortages or damages, is sometimes also a consideration here.

Should your budget permit and your guests appreciate something better, more up-market crockery and cutlery may be suitable. We recommend plain white, round crockery, which is always acceptable, despite not often being noticed and that superior cutlery only be ordered if the meal is to be plated rather than collected at a buffet station.

Take your pick from our range of tableware and catering crockery. Our selection ranges from elegant to functional and will provide the solution to all your tableware needs. From fine dining to everyday crockery, we've got the perfect crockery to complement your function.
